I Will Praise Thee: Remembering His Wonderful Works

God is so good! Just when you think all is lost, He shows up right on time. He knows how to bless, heal, and deliver. This should inspire praise in Christians today.

We should be willing to praise Him with all of our hearts because of His great love towards us.

I will praise thee, O Lord my God, with all my heart: and I will glorify thy name for evermore. Psalms 86:12 (KJV)

God’s name is to be glorified. We should praise and magnify His name on a continual basis. One only has to remember His wonderful works of the past in our lives. Take time on this day to praise and adore Him, you will find strength for the journey.

Prayer of the Week:
“I know my praises please you. I ask
on today that you will help me to increase my thanksgiving and praise to you. Amen”

I Worship Your Majesty: Honoring His Greatness

Times of prayer and bible study should bring us face to face with the majesty of God. Daily, the Christian should meditate upon the Lord and His goodness. When you think of His power and goodness, it will inspire you to worship and praise rather than doubt and complain. You will trust God for who He is in all honor and adoration.

Bless the Lord, O my soul. O Lord my God, thou art very great; thou art clothed with honor and majesty. (Psalm 104:1)

The psalmist commanded his soul to bless the Lord. Christ is to be worshipped with our whole being. He is great and truly is worthy of our praise. He is deserving.

On today, remember that He is clothed with honor, glory, power, and majesty while remaining full of love and compassion. Lift your eyes to Him who is faithful and say, “I Worship Your Majesty.”

Prayer of the Week:

“Lord, I thank you for experiencing you and your excellent majesty through Christ. On today, help me to continually recognize your power fully. Amen.”

The Praise Robbers: Keep the Praises of God Guarded

In the world, we have individuals known as grave robbers. They wait until a body is placed in the ground and under the cover of darkness, they dig it up and get what they can get. Well, in our Christian walk, we have praise robbers.

What are praise robbers? They are things that come in our lives and we allow them to stop and cut off our praise. They come during the dark and difficult times in our lives. What are some praise robbers? Well, let’s see… pain, persecution, disappointment, worries, woes, trials, tests, tribulations, people, places, and thing.

Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or , or peril, or sword? As it is written, For thy sake we are killed all the day long; we are accounted as sheep for the slaughter. Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us. Romans 8:35-37 (KJV)

Don’t allow the praise robbers to make you a thief. Don’t allow things to separate you from God’s love. When you submit to them and withhold praise and worship, you become the chief praise robber. Your praise and worship belong to Him; remember He creates the fruit (praise) of the lips. So, on today, know that God is with you and your situation will never overturn the fact that He is worthy.

Prayer of the Week:

“Lord, grant me grace, when conflicts arise. Help me to honor you as I face conflicts. Let your will always be done. Amen.”
