What’s On Your Mind?

A mind is a terrible thing to waste!” This slogan is one of the most familiar statements associated with education. This statement holds true for all aspects of life. The Christian needs to know that what is allowed in the mind affects the Christian walk and experience. Paul gave us a remedy for the negative influences that can warp our thinking.

Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are things just, whatsoever are pure, whatsoever things are things lovely, whatsoever are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things. Phil 4:8 (KJV)

What’s on your mind? As a Christian, are you only concerned about circumstances and situations? Or are you overrun with worry and despair? Then, think on good things.

Bring your thoughts under the obedience of Christ. Though many things can occur in life, do not allow them to frustrate your journey with Christ. In the end, Christ will prove Himself faithful to you.

Prayer of the Week:

“I come to you today asking for help with my thoughts. Though many things come to my mind, I thank you for grace to develop the right thoughts. Amen.”
