Time marches
on. It waits for no man. It pauses for no woman. It ceases not for a child to
be born. We have to make the most of the time we have. Recently, the American
populace has experienced the deaths of many individuals, great and small.
Though death should not frighten the Christian because of the promise of
eternal life, a sense of urgency should be upon us.
And that, knowing
the time, that now it is high
time to awake out of sleep: for now is
our salvation nearer than when we believed. Romans 13:11 (KJV)
In times like these, we can still make a difference and impact the world for Christ. In times like these, we can still stand for what is right and show the work of Christ in our lives. On today, challenge yourself to make the most of your time on this earth. In the end, you can expect Christ to say, “Well done, thou good and faithful servant.”
Prayer of the Week:
“Lord, I thank you
for being in my life. Your presence makes me aware of the time, but sure of my
salvation. I am grateful for all things. Amen”
