Understand
that though it may seem impossible, it will surely happen in your life. It is
time now for you to embrace and believe the things that God has shown you in
your life. Remember the account of the Dreamer and His Dreams; that is, the story
of Joseph.
And Joseph dreamed a dream, and he told it his brethren: and they hated him yet the more. And he said unto them, Hear, I pray you, this dream which I have dreamed: For, behold, we were binding sheaves in the field, and, lo, my sheaf arose, and also stood upright; and, behold, your sheaves stood round about, and made obeisance to my sheaf. Gen 37:5-7 (KJV)
God gave
Joseph two dreams concerning his exalted place among his brethren. However, we
understand that during the 13 years following the dreams, Joseph suffered setbacks.
Yet, God was faithful and the things that God had showed him came to pass.
Be
encouraged on this day to know that whatever dreams (visions, goals, ministries,
and the like) God has given you will happen. Do not allow past setbacks and
difficulties cause you to doubt the validity of what is in your heart. Whatever
God has promised, He is able to perform.
Prayer
of the Week:
“Lord, grant me the grace to stand with
contentment as I wait upon you. You will be faithful unto the end. Amen.”
