No If’s, And’s or But’s

A few years ago, I heard a minister preach a message entitled, “No If’s, And’s, or But’s.” In the message, he encouraged the believers to stand on God’s word without doubt or unbelief. It is interesting to note how many believers struggle with believing in the daily presence and power of God in their lives. The enemy tells us the same lies continually. However, on today, whatever you stand in need of, whatever you are trusting God for, or whatever God has promised you, remember that there are no if’s, and’s, or but’s concerning Him and His promises.

For all the promises of God in him are yea and in him Amen, unto the glory of God by us. 2 Corinthians 1:20 (KJV)

The scriptures are clear that all of the promises of God revealed through Christ are YES and AMEN. Yes lets you know that whatever He has promised that “YES!” – He will do it. Amen is a surety that His promise is established and it will certainly come to pass.

Do not lose faith in God. Hold on to the promises. Pray and ask God for faith and patience until every promise of the Word and every personal prophetic promise is manifested in your life. Again, there are no If’s, And’s, or But’s when it comes to God and His promises. There is only Yes and Amen.

Prayer of the Week:

“I thank you for your daily provision and protection. I make a new commitment to trust the promises of your word. I give you glory and praise today. Amen.”

Spiritual Stimulus Package

For the past few years, we have seen the American economy take one of the biggest hits in decades. To combat this downward spiral, the government gave the American people a stimulus check, hoping to jump-start the economy. Well, spiritually, it seems that many Christians are experiencing spiritual recessions and are in need of a spiritual stimulus package from the Lord.

Wilt thou not revive us again: that thy people may rejoice in thee? Psalms 85:6 (KJV)

The psalmist asked God if He would revive His people that they could rejoice again. Have you felt the strain and stress of life recently? Is the joy of your salvation diminishing? Today, you can expect God to send you a stimulus package. The psalmist asked God two questions. The answer to these questions to you on this day is “Yes.” God’s stimulus package is being sent to you.

This package contains joy (which will be unspeakable and full of glory). It contains peace (which passes understanding – you will not know why you have it). It will also contain power (authority and strength to walk in victory even in these hard times). You do not need to wait for it to come, but just ask in faith and stand in expectation. Today, receive God’s spiritual stimulus package.

Prayer of the Week:

“I trust you on this day Lord. You will provide some cool refreshing in the midst of the heat of life. I thank you for it now. Amen.”
